4. Specimens H, J and K are maize, groundnut cake and bone meal.
(a) State the main nutrient supplied by each. [6 marks]

(c) Describe how you would prepare a simple ration using these three. [8 marks]
5. Specimens A and B are soil samples from a river bank and a hilltop.
(a) State two observable differences between the samples. [6 marks]
(b) Describe an experiment to compare their drainage rates. [10 marks]
(c) State the result you would expect and the inference. [4 marks]
6. A student is asked to prepare a fish pond for stocking.
(a) Describe the steps in preparing the pond. [10 marks]
(b) State two water quality parameters that must be checked and why. [6 marks]
(c) State two signs of poor water quality. [4 marks]
Reading these is not the same as sitting them.
