Clear rules for practising the real thing.

These terms apply when someone visits Exampaper, creates an account, sits a practice assessment, joins a class, buys an entitlement or uses a related website or mobile-app feature. “Exampaper”, “we” and “us” mean the legal operator of the Exampaper service. The operator's registered legal name and service address still need to be inserted into this technical draft before it becomes final.

The Privacy notice explains how personal information is handled. If a person does not accept the final terms, they should not create or continue using an account. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Account information must be accurate enough for the service to work. Each person should use their own account, keep access to their email secure, protect sign-in codes and tell us promptly if an account may have been compromised. Do not sell, lend or transfer an account or an entitlement unless Exampaper expressly provides a transfer route.

Exampaper asks for a birth year before account creation because many candidates are under 18. An unknown age is handled as minor. A child or young person should review these terms with a parent or guardian where the law, school arrangement or their own circumstances require it. The final age-and-consent wording must be approved under Nigerian law before launch; this draft does not assume that an educational label makes every child-data use lawful.

A parent, guardian or payer may pay for access without becoming entitled to read every answer or private support message on the candidate's account. Visibility follows the roles and permissions described in the product and Privacy notice.

Depending on the exam and content available, Exampaper may provide:

• untimed topic practice with answers and explanations;
• timed assessment simulation with section rules and scoring;
• syllabus coverage, mastery tracking and revision planning;
• free-text or spoken-response marking where clearly enabled;
• AI-supported explanations and grounded tutor answers;
• classes, assignments and teacher-facing progress; and
• paid access to clearly described analysis, packs or time-limited entitlements.

Not every feature or assessment format is available for every exam, country or device. A catalogue entry is not a promise that every paper, year or syllabus topic has been published. Professional-certification question banks are not part of the first release.

The apps cache assessment material and unsent progress to survive an interrupted connection, but a device, browser or operating system can still clear local storage. Candidates should submit work when a connection returns and keep the device charged during a timed simulation.

You may use Exampaper for personal study or an authorised school/class purpose. You may not:

• scrape, bulk-download, mirror, republish, sell or build another question bank from Exampaper content;
• bypass a paywall, timing control, access rule, answer-key restriction, rate limit or other technical protection;
• use automation to open accounts, sit assessments, mine answers or overload the service without written permission;
• upload or submit malware, unlawful material, another person's confidential data, or real restricted exam questions obtained in breach of an exam body's rules;
• use the service to cheat during a live official examination, impersonate another person or falsify a reported result;
• harass candidates, teachers or support staff, or use a class to monitor someone outside a genuine educational relationship; or
• probe another account or attempt to extract server credentials or private data.

Reasonable personal printing or screenshots for one candidate's own revision are allowed unless a specific item says otherwise. They do not create a right to distribute a complete paper or answer bank.

The Exampaper platform, software, explanations, clean-room items, illustrations, original recordings and presentation are owned by or licensed to the operator. A personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence is granted only to use them through the service for permitted study or class activity.

Names of exams and examining bodies identify the assessment being practised. Their marks, official papers and third-party materials remain the property of their owners. Where past examination questions may lawfully be used, their source and clearance status are recorded. For protected English-proficiency and employer tests, Exampaper uses newly authored style-based material rather than copying or paraphrasing a real paper. Rephrasing protected material is not treated as a licensing shortcut.

If you believe an item infringes a right or gives a source incorrectly, send the item link and the basis of the concern through the contact page. We may temporarily hide an item while it is investigated.

You keep any rights you already hold in an original essay, recording, support message, correction report, teacher note or other content you submit. You grant Exampaper a limited licence to host, copy, format, transmit and analyse that content only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service, meet legal duties and create genuinely de-identified aggregate measurements.

You must have the right to submit the material. Do not put another person's sensitive information, a confidential employer document or a restricted exam paper into a tutor question or answer. A support report should include only what is needed to find the problem.

Reporting an actual exam score for prediction calibration is optional. Where aggregate calibration is published, small groups are suppressed and individual reports are not shown as public results.

AI may help mark a written response, explain an option or answer a question using the relevant assessment material. Predictive models may estimate a likely score from practice history. These tools can misunderstand a response, reproduce a bias, omit context or confidently give a wrong answer.

AI output is study assistance only. It must not be relied on as an official grade, professional advice, a guarantee of admission or employment, or a substitute for the published rules of the real exam. The examining body's current rules always control the real examination.

A candidate can use the report/correction route to challenge a questionable item or mark. Exampaper may replace, withdraw or re-mark an AI response when review finds it wrong. Optional voice marking will remain unavailable until a transcription provider, minor policy and audio-deletion workflow are approved and disclosed.

A candidate who joins a class authorises the service to show designated staff the class information described at the time of joining, including membership, assignments, completion, results, readiness and relevant progress. Access is limited by the candidate's recorded membership period and the staff member's role.

A school, centre or teacher must use those tools only for a legitimate educational purpose, invite only the intended people, remove access when it is no longer needed and protect staff credentials. They must not export or use candidate information for advertising, unrelated discipline, public ranking or another incompatible purpose.

Exampaper provides practice records; the school remains responsible for decisions it makes about teaching, placement or a candidate. A class result is not an official exam result.

Digital purchases are made through the website using Paystack. The iOS app consumes access already attached to an account and does not sell or link to digital purchases. Before payment, the checkout must show the amount in Nigerian naira, what the purchase unlocks, the account receiving it and any duration or usage limit. Unless a future checkout expressly says otherwise, a one-time purchase does not renew automatically.

A successful provider response is not enough by itself: the entitlement must appear on the intended account. If money was deducted but access did not arrive, a payment was duplicated, the wrong account received it, or the described product was unavailable, contact support with the Paystack reference and payer email. Do not send full card details.

Refund eligibility depends on the transaction, whether access was consumed, the reason for the request and rights under Nigerian consumer law. The final commercial refund policy and operational refund test are still required before paid launch; this draft does not invent a fixed deadline or promise a workflow that has not been proved. Refunded, reversed or charged-back purchases may have the corresponding entitlement removed after investigation, except where the law requires another outcome.

A parent, sponsor or organisation that pays for someone else must confirm the correct recipient. Paying does not transfer ownership of the candidate's account or all of its personal information to the payer.

Exampaper records whether structures, timings and rules are verified, derived or still assumptions. Exam bodies can change a syllabus, format, fee, date or permitted tool after a page is published. Candidates must check the official body's current instructions for the real exam.

We aim to source every item and explain every answer, but a question, key, explanation, mark or prediction can still be wrong. Reports are investigated and material fixes are published in the corrections log. Aggregate prediction performance appears on the calibration page once the minimum sample is large enough.

Correcting content may change a practice mark, mastery calculation or prediction. It cannot change an official result issued by an examining body.

We may maintain, repair, secure, improve or discontinue a feature. Where a paid feature is materially withdrawn, we will consider an appropriate remedy in light of what was purchased, what was used and applicable law. Planned changes should not destroy an attempt already in progress, but emergency security work may require immediate action.

We may rate-limit, restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to stop abuse, protect candidates, comply with law, investigate fraud or enforce these terms. Except where immediate action is needed, we will explain the reason and offer a route to challenge a mistake. We may preserve relevant records while a dispute, chargeback, security incident or legal duty is unresolved.

Exampaper provides educational practice on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that using it will produce a particular score, admission, job, scholarship or other outcome, or that every device and network will be uninterrupted. Nothing on the service is legal, medical, financial or professional advice.

To the extent permitted by law, neither side is responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable from the use of the service. This does not exclude liability that Nigerian law does not allow a contract to exclude, including liability arising from fraud or other non-excludable conduct. A monetary liability cap, if appropriate, must be settled by counsel rather than fabricated in a technical draft.

Candidates remain responsible for registration, deadlines, identity documents, official fees, travel, device rules and conduct in the real examination. A link or description is useful context, not a replacement for the examining body's notice.

A person may stop using Exampaper and ask to close an account. A complete self-service deletion and anonymisation workflow is not yet implemented or tested: payments and organisation ownership can require records to be retained or reassigned rather than simply erased. The final retention schedule and closure process are launch blockers.

Until that process is built, send a closure request from the account email to support@exampaper.com.ng. We will verify the request, explain what can be deleted or anonymised and identify any record that must be retained. Ending an account does not erase an existing payment dispute, lawful audit record or obligation that arose before closure.

Sections concerning intellectual property, submitted-content permissions already used, payment records, disputes and lawful limitations continue where their nature requires.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without removing any mandatory consumer or data-protection right that applies. Before starting formal proceedings, each side should give the other a fair written opportunity to understand and resolve the complaint, unless urgent relief is reasonably needed. A dispute not resolved informally may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

Material changes will be dated and, where appropriate, explained in the service or by account email. Changes should operate prospectively; they do not rewrite a completed purchase after the fact. If a change needs fresh consent, Exampaper will ask before the affected processing or feature continues.
